oh this fandom you’re so funny why is there this huge argument over dean/cas versus cas/dean

you know i had big issues in the pl fandom when one of my rp partners tried to assert over and over again that there was this huge difference between x/y and y/x

and i was like

no

you don’t understand how relationships work you’re

thinking in yaoi seme/uke heteronormative top/bottom stereotypes

even if one person prefers to bottom or top or whatever in sex, that really says nothing about their personality

the two are unrelated

independent variables

though i guess personality might have some say in what you prefer during sex

most of the time

you can’t really guess what someone’s like in bed from their outward demeanor

and don’t act like you can.
